Sprint Together with Nextel, the new excessively long name of two cell phone companies which merged three weeks ago, must have had a fun Wednesday night.

With today being marketed as Day One of the combined company, employees at more than 1,600 stores stayed late last night to renovate their shops. Sprint stores ditched the red, in favor of Nextel yellow. New signs went up and phones from both companies were added to every store. I mentioned the changes in a story in today’s Register.

But something you won’t find in the print edition is an actual video of the makeover. The company recorded the overnight changes in time-lapse video. Fast forward through it and you get an interesting little show. STWN sent the 15-second video to me this morning. So take a look at it HERE
