gadgetressyikes.jpgTechnical difficulties, I’m told, are over. The OC Register blogs are back! And for loyal readers who visited this page during the database-corruption fiasco (that’s the reason I’ve been given), I can finally post again. AND you can comment! (as Larry has already done so below - thanks Larry!)

If you tried to comment in the past week and don’t see your comment posted, you could do it again. Plus, I still have another USB key and some freebies to give away from JVC if anyone is interested. Just tell me about a cool gadget you’ve seen lately.

I know I will have to post some serious gadgets to get readers back to checking in with my blog. So stay tuned. I’ll post more tonight.

Gadgetress-Glad you are back!I know that a lot of us dearly wanted to get rid of our landline and just have a cell phone, but I just can’t give up my nice, comfy (as in big) home phone! Talking for any long period of time on a dinky cell phone loses its charm quickly. This past weekend I heard about the “C51 system” from Motorola that allows consumers to pipe their cellular service to any room in the house. You dock your bluetooth-enabled cell phone in the Motorola cell dock. The cell signal is then relayed to a base station, which transmits it up to 12 cordless phones over a wireless system. Soo, when your cell rings, your “landline” rings!! Pretty Neat. Have you heard any reviews? Sheri
