Toshiba’s tiny projector

I saw a few of these palm-sized projectors at the Consumer Electronics Show. But this is the first from Toshiba’s Digital Products Division in Irvine. The Toshiba TDP-FF1AU weighs 1.1 pounds and is 5.5 inches by 4 inches and a mere 2.2 inches thick.

But tiny doesn’t mean weak. It will project images on screens up to 68-inches. Other details: Offers TV quality video (800 by 600 resolution) and a contrast ratio of 1500:1, so make sure the room is dark. Available at ToshibaDirect.com for $699, which includes a fold-up 23-inch diagonal screen, rechargeable battery and carrying case.
