
If you were in South Korea earlier today, you could get the first glimpse at StarCraft II, the sequel to the 1998 game from Irvine’s own Blizzard Entertainment. For more recent World of Warcraft fans, this is like Warcraft in space, from what I hear.
Details were released at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational event in Seoul, South Korea, where fans go gaga over professional video game players. The announcement included a StarCraft II cinematic trailer and game demonstration by the development team.
