Dell adds lots of color

Lots of new computer announcements today. Besides Toshiba’s new line up (posted earlier), now we’ve got Dell trying color again. But not just dark, conservative hues. Dell’s gone color crazy with pink, lime and yellow, which the Texas company is calling Flamingo Pink, Spring Green and Sunshine Yellow. So not like Dell, eh?

These are from the Dell Inspiron line and were unveiled in the nation’s fashion capital, along with a new marketing campaign “Yours is Here.” Will the fashionistas go for this? More sensible perks about some of the new machines: The XPS 1330 is one of the thinnest 13-inch notebooks around. They all have wide screens. Umm…
