While I was busy with E3 video game coverage last week, Irvine’s Gateway launched some new laptops in Crimson Red, Pacific Blue or Slate Grey. It’s not quite the colorful lineup recently announced by Dell, but for those who want some color with their Gateway, you now have that option.
The laptops are part of the Gateway M-Series (15.4-inch wide screen) and T-Series (14.1-inch wide screen). Both feature an integrated 1.3-megapixel web cam, HDMI ports (to get the most out of high-definition DVDs and videos), Wi-Fi (a/b/g or n) and full-size keyboard.
Optional features: high-definition DVD options of HD DVD or Blu-ray drives are optional, Bluetooth and a finger-print reader.
Prices start at $899 and the first two models, the M-6816 and T-6815 will be available starting July 22 at national retailers. More details…
