As she promised us last week, Gina McGrath, owner and designer of the gina b. international laptop bag company in Irvine, sent me images of her new lineup. Five bags in all!

The Riley, $130
I’m most curious about this one, pictured above. It can carry a 17-inch laptop but Gina says it’s not as bulky as comparable 17-inch laptop bags. It’s 30 percent smaller. Technical measurements: 13 ¼” height by 15.5-inch wide by 2.75-inch deep. Available in black or brown and made from nylon fabric, cotton lining and synthetic leather trim.

The Layla, $280
Croc-embossed leather includes lots of pockets plus back sleeve to slide onto luggage handles. Made of genuine leather exterior and cotton (black bag) or nylon (brown bag) on the interior. Fits 15.4-inch laptops.

The Molly, $280
Another leather bag with two roomy compartments for files, plus front pockets for quick access and removable laptop sleeve that fits 15.4-inch laptops. Also includes back sleeve to slip on luggage handles.

The Pixie, $130
Messenger bag styled laptop case has metal feet on the bottom for durability. Back Pocket/sleeve slips over luggage handles. Plus pockets galore, including two side pockets on the exterior. Made of nylon on the outside, canvas inside and synthetic leather trim.

The Slim, $75
The most affordable and most basic case in gina b’s new collection. It’s really just a dedicated laptop sleeve, fully padded, of course. Extra touches include a front pocket with magnetic closure for cell phone, business cards, etc. Zippered back sleeve lets you slip it over luggage handles. Fits 15.4-inch laptops. Made from nylon (exterior) and cotton (interior) with genuine leather trim.
