Upperdeck in Carlsbad has a new series of World of Warcraft trading cards, which they’re showing off at BlizzCon today. The trading-card business is pretty large and even BlizzCon has an area dedicated just to fans of the card games — right next to the StarCraft II play area.

The first set: FIRES OF OUTLAND
According to the company, this is the third set in the World of Warcraft trading card games and includes 246 new cards, including 18 heroes and 3 loot cards. Loot cards are randomly inserted into each WoW TCG pack to give players unique in-game items in the WoW online game.

Coming in October: MAGTHERIDON’S LAIR RAID DECKS
The deck will feature 110 Raid Deck cards, 10 exclusive card treasure packs, and 1 oversized hero card.
