Sonnet’s 21-in-1 Multimedia Memory Card Reader ExpressCard

What else to do with that ExpressCard slot on your laptop? Get this handy 21-in-1 memory card reader from Sonnet Technologies in Irvine. It even reads the elusive XD memory, whichi I unfortunately settled for with my digital camera.

This is much better than my current method of keeping multiple versions of the same card reader in all my work spaces so I’m never without one. I can just leave this in my laptop! And it looks like it really can read the plethora of memory cards showing up in cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players and cameras.

What’s an ExpressCard? The new Sonnet 21-in-1 Multimedia Memory Card Reader ExpressCard reads:

  • Memory Stick
  • MMC (Multimedia Card)
  • SD (Secure Digital)
  • XD-Picture Card
  • and all the variations thereof….

Other specs: works with MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.4 or later, PCs with ExpressCard 34 or 54 slots running Windows XP SP2 or Vista. Price: $29.95. Check Sonnet’s site for more details.
