That’s what all the Apple rumor sites are buzzing about this week.
ThinkSecret hints that new iPods will be released on Sept. 5 – as first reported by ArsTechnica. While that date is not confirmed, neither are the iPods to be relased. ThinkSecret writes that a second-generation iPod Nano is expected, but possibly also a new iPod that is based on Apple’s X operating system and uses a multi-touch screen – just like the iPhones.
Irvine-based iLounge.com doesn’t guess at what will be released but does call the possible new iPod the “iPod bilbo” until the real name is revealed. Also, it’s worth mentioning that iLounge recently released a guide to rebuilding or cleaning your iTunes library.
