**Just found out about this:** The inventer of the Jitterbug cell phone, which caters to seniors who don’t want a lengthy contract or a petite phone with itty-bitty buttons, is stopping at a CVS store in Fountain Valley today from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

I mentioned the phones HERE last November. They have giant buttons and large letters and are from GreatCall in Del Mar (with design help from Samsung).

Inventor Arlene Harris and her husband, Marty Cooper, will be at CVS today for autographs. No, really, they’ll be providing a demonstration of how the phone works.

The phone’s launch in the CVS Home Health Centers with be quite festive — complete with jitterbug music, five-cent hot dogs and drinks. And CVS is raffling off a free phone and one-year of free service. (Sorry folks — there was a mix-up so no free phone giveaway.) Buy a phone today and get a free car charger.

I am terribly soured at purchasing one of the Jitterbug phones. I changed my mind after agreement and they have yet to send me back 45.00. They talked about an activation fee and a shipping fee. I have been on the phone to them with no satisfying results. When FedEx delivered it I did not open the box and sent it back. I am still owed 35.00 for what they call an activation fee. I live in TX and AARP magazine was the advertiser. The first discussion I had with Jitterbug I was told I would get all of my money refunded which is not true. They keep putting me off for this refund. BEWARE!
