Epson’s Hello Kitty computer

September 19th, 2007, 2:15 pm · Post a Comment · posted by

Holy Hello! There’s a guy out there chronicling every Hello-Kitty related product launch on his blog. Quite comprehensive, I must say.

Today’s entry: A Hello Kitty computer from Epson (not the U.S. office in Long Beach but the parent company in Japan).

According to Hello Kitty Hell (which I discovered via Gizmodo, which also has its own Hello Kitty category), Epson is offering two laptops with the Hello Kitty theme.

Cute, of course. But the Epson A4 Hello Kitty Monogrammed Laptop’s low-end technical specs (Windows Vista, a mere 80 GB hard drive and a Celeron M 430 1.73 Ghz — a Celeron!) and $1,640 price tag is an insult to geeky Hello Kitty fans everywhere.

Lots more Hello Kitty computers from Hello Kitty Hell…
