Irvine’s Broadcom Corp. is partnering with Electronic Arts Inc. to put EA Mobile games on mobile phones.
The games will be optimized by Broadcom’s newest VideoCore(R) III mobile multimedia processor that supports high definition content and high-quality mobile phone graphics that Broadcom says are equivalent to today’s handheld game consoles.
Broadcom said the the EA games will be available as soon handsets with its chip come on the market, but it did not give a date.
This BCM2727 chip was announced by Broadcom in early October. CLICK HERE to read this blog’s post on the chip’s announcement.
