Events: Recycle your old electronics

iconeventsThe REI outdoor gear store in Santa Ana is offering an e-waste collection event 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

The Grain Project, EaseE-waste and REI are partnering for the event, which collects your old electronics for free so that the items can be recycled. Items that can be dropped off are: computers, laptops, monitors, calculators, electric typewriters, printers, fax machinies, scanners, copiers, hard drives, telephones, zip drives, cell phones, digital cameras, televisions, servers, VCR’s, modems, stereos, gaming systems, CD players, DVD players, network cables and computer peripherals.
