What if our supervisors decided to quit throwing money at pork-barrel freeway projects and actually invested in mass transit. One cheap way to do this would be to put buses on the freeway carpool lanes instead of Prius's. Think about it. A bus ride to work (or near work) that would not take 2-3 times longer than driving yourself.
