Nintendo’s Wii Fit balance board for its super-popular Wii game console goes on sale today. But only at the Nintendo World Store in New York.
Nintendo has already sold 2 million Fits in Japan so that’s why the $89.99 game accessory is popping up on eBay (up to $360) and Amazon sellers for outrageous prices ($180 plus $3.99 shipping at one Amazon store).
For us sorry gamers who didn’t pre-order when we had the chance, the actual Wii Fit
goes on sale Wednesday at many local stores without the unnecessary markup. You’ll just have to line up with everyone else.
However, Wal-Mart is still taking pre-orders! And at a 25-cents off, at $89.74. Bonus: It’s offering a $10 Walmart.com gift card for all Wii Fit pre-orders.

It senses movement so if you sway your hips back and forth, you’ll be perfect for the virtual hula-hoop game.
Nintendo’s marketing campaign is targeting fitness fans (see Target’s ad on right) who want to use the Fit for yoga, bumping a soccer ball with your head and other exercises.
Here’s a list of stores with Wii Fits on sale Wednesday, plus other pertinent information:
Target stores: Opens at 8 a.m.If you’re still looking for a Wii, by the way, check out the Wii Tracker at Ben’s Bargains. I just checked and found six available, though only bundled with games.
