ING Direct bank offers free security softwareIf you bank at ING DIRECT, the Wilmington, Del.-bank just announced it’s offering free anti-phishing software to all customers.

The Rapport software from Isreal’s Trusteer protects against online identity theft and threats such as phishing, pharming, keyloggers, man-in-the-middle attacks, man-in-the-browser attacks, screen-scrapers, and session hijacking. Did you know all of these even exist?

According to a Computer World article, “The tool is easy to install and, once in place, runs in the background — launching whenever the user logs onto ING’s site.”

Hopefully, it’s just as friendly as the image below from Rapport’s web site.

However, the software is not available yet. It’s coming this summer and will be available at INGDirect.com, according to the bank.
