Save the earth event in Irvine next week

The Costa Mesa-based Earth Resource Foundation is hosting a day-long conference next Thursday to educate business users on how to waste absolutely nothing — and save time and money while doing so. The  “Zero in on Zero Waste: Don’t Let your Bottom Line Go to Waste” conference features speakers from Ricoh Electronics, Toyota and Goodwill.

When: Thursday, June 26, 2008

Time: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Where: Ford Motor Company, at 1 Premier Place in Irvine.

Registration fee: $325. Students and nonprofits are $125.
