Buy a Gateway product. The warranty is worse than useless. The warranty allows Gateway to wipe out your drive and walk away with a "too bad" attitude. It happened to me and management was so silent it was deafening. The cowards in management never responded to requests for help, all the way to the president. Never a Gateway! I had more problems with 2 Gateways I owned than all other computers combined, including failure of hardware made in Bulgaria, with a back order time of 8 weeks for a replacement. When I found a third party replacement myself, I voided the warranty. Gateway's travails reinforces my belief in free markets. If companies like Countrywide, Gateway and United Airlines stay in business -- something is rotten. Big deal — Gateway computers have been junk for a loooong time.
