Cox Communications is the latest to offer the rebroadcast of the John McCain and Barack Obama “Civil Forum” from August 16 at the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.

Available to its Cox Digital Cable customers, this viewing is on demand so people can watch whenever they want, as many times as they want. Fox and CNN both rebroadcast the debate last weekend.

Best of all, it’s free to digital cable customers. The 1-hour, 37-minute show will be available until Sept. 7. The broadcast is the same footage that has already been aired. To view the show, just go to Cox OnDemand (Channel 1) and select “Free Zone,” then “OC Now on Demand” and “Cox3 – Civil Forum.”

In addition, Cox will air reactions from audience and feature Jon Fleischman, vice chairman, south of the California Republican Party and Frank Barbaro, chair of the Democratic Party of Orange County. That coverage starts Wednesday and will be on demand afterward. If you don’t get OnDemand, Cox will also repeat the show on Cox Channel 3 Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
