I actually played with the Storm over the Halloween weekend. It had an evaluation OS on it and it was glitchy. From a friend who works for Verizon many of the glitches I experienced have been resolved and any discovered issues will be fixed through updates.

I really liked the device. The iPhone will still have an advantage because it was out first and Apple came to their senses and opened up their OS to developers. The Storm won't be an iPhone killer but if RIMM cooperates with developers it should take a sizeable chunk of the market from Apple. The problem is that the contracts for AT&T are not up yet so unless Verizon gets existing customers to upgrade (me) the company may not see the rush to switch just yet.
