U-verse adds 5 Asian-language channels

AT&T’s U-verse TV service added several Asian-language channels this week:
- ET News, a 24-hour Mandarin news channel is $10 per month. Can also be added for free to U-verse’s 6-channel Mandarin package, which is $35 per month.
- ET Global, a Mandarin entertainment channel featuring celebrity talk shows, variety shows, made-for-television dramas. Also free to existing Mandarin package customers on channel 3632 or $10 per month.
- STAR India PLUS, a Hindi entertainment channel featuring popular family dramas, reality talent shows, news, the latest Bollywood movies. It can be added for free to U-verse’s 4-channel South Asian package, which is $35 per month or a la carte for $12 a month.
- TVBV, a Vietnamese-dubbed drama channel featuring action, comedy, romance, sci-fi and more for the family. Available a la carte for $10 a month on channel 3664.
- MBC America, a Korean network featuring popular dramas with English subtitles, children’s programs, award-winning documentaries, live news and variety shows. Available for $13 a month on channel 3643.
