Thanks for the update AV... My goal is to figure out what is happening with FiOS/U-verse in every O.C. city, and not by just relying on readers ;). Keep the updates coming!

I see that your byline today made it on to the homepage of dslreports.com.

As far as Brea, I own one rental in the small section that Verizon serves in Brea, and I have yet to receive notification that my house is eligible to be served. No door hangar solicitation pieces, or mail pieces 9as what I have experienced with my rentals in the Verizon served areas of the Inland Empire).

I asked the neighbors on eiher side of my rental, and they both say have heard nothing (in all fairness, neither really knows what Fios is anyway), and as I drive around the small neighborhood that Verizon serves in Brea, I don't see any of the Fios boxes.

Possibly, Fios was scheduled to be deployed sometime this year, and maybe that's still the case, just not yet in Brea. It would have to tie into the La Habra central office, so once Fios is deployed in that city, one would assume that Fios will be deployed into the small section of Brea that Verizon serves.
