  Will we hear the mexicans chant “Osama” during the game? Probably. Will anyone waving an American flag at the game be assaulted? Probably.

  Mexico is one of the most xenophobic countries in the world. When Mexico plays in the U.S., our miniscule number of American flag waving fans just cheer for the game action.

  MOST OF THE FANS THAT ATTEND THE GAMES IN AMERICA WAVE MEXICAN FLAGS. So much for mexicans wanting amnesty because they love America. They just want a bigger piece of the American pie. Their first allegiance is to Mexico. A country they fled in order to make a few extra dollars. But they still think Mexico is the best country in the world, albeit for the fact they cannot raise their families there, the public schools are crud, they are dying in droves in a drug war, their country’s political system is even more corrupt than ours and they cannot claim social benefits to the extent they can if they illegally immigrate to the States and spit out some anchor babies.

    This is a truly ignorant comment. You are pissed off because people waive Mexican Flags in a soccer game where Mexico is participating? Wow! Where were you when anyone had the audacity to waive any flag that was not the United States when the World Olympics occurred last year? Let’s not even get into the World Cup or any other sport that is played in the international level.

    Let’s set the record straight, your support for a particular team does not mean you are pledging allegiance to that team’s country. I am a United States Citizen, born and raised in Orange County but don’t you dare try to undercut me by claiming I pledge my allegiance to Mexico simply because I want Mexico to win in a soccer match.

    And just so you know, Mexico is a great country, just like the United States and many countries throughout the world. That is our problem as Americans, we have become so egocentric that it blind us into believing that only the United States can be “great.”

  Markdidit- I do admit Mexico is poor. It is a great country though. Yes the reason we come over here is for money. Your right! Your ancestors left Ireland or one of those European countries for you to be where your at now. All of the sudden you claim to be American. When you have some kinda European decent. Unless you are Native American you have the right to come at me with your nonsense. Other than that I wish your ancestors where here to slap you and make you understand that it was immigrants that created and form this great country we call U.S.A. It is obvious that your ignorant. So all that education you claim to be so great did nothing for you. I bet you got an A++ when it came to history about Hitler. People put on a Raider or a Cowboy star to represent their team. It’s too bad soccer just isn’t an American past time. So you wont see to many U.S.A Flags. Don’t get butt hurt. Go out there and support if it means that much to you. When 911 happened Mexicans were carrying U.S.A Flags. If I do recall there are soldiers of Mexican decent fighting your war in Iraq. We can go on and on on who is who. America is a beautiful country. To me Mexico is beautiful too. I have the best of both worlds. Don’t hate cause you can’t go hang around in Europe. It really comes down to ignorance and jelousy then for you. So hate me all you want. For your information most Mexicans cheer on the U.S when Mexico is eliminated. Not that I hate Brazil because its a beautiful country too. But they are like the Yankees of soccer. So with that said enjoy your Corona and burritos. No matter what you like something from Mexico. Stay thirsty my friend!
