It's amazing! I've been tracking this stuff and 850 Mhz 3G cell sites are popping up all over. I even noticed a new one being installed in my local dead zone. From what I can tell Disneyland Park has at least 6 new tiny 3G sites INSIDE the parks. There seems to be at least three or four outside the park pointing in as well.

If your service is still marginal or poor right now, know that it will only get better. I called up at&t only once and complained about service at my house and at my work in Westminster and they responded by installing a cell site right across the street from my work. They are building a new site where I live at my parents house as well. The at&t worker guy said it should be working in two weeks!!!! This is awesome!!! I know at&t hasn't been the best since 3G but it looks like they are finally catching up.

Do like the Gadgetress says and REPORT IT. It's working!!! I think If everyone reports dropped calls and no coverage, it will happen quicker. Be heard so all of us can have better service.
