Free Showtime for 4 days for Time Warner customers

Freebie alert: Time Warner Cable is offering customers free access to a few Showtime channels beginning Wednesday, Dec. 16.
The 4-day freebie ends Dec. 20. Here’s a link to see some of the shows coming up this week on the channel.
The Showtime channels that are part of the free preview are on 552 (Showtime), 553 (Showtime HD) and Showtime On Demand (via channel 1 or 1006). The preview is free to all customers.
Since some of the shows will include adult content, customers can opt to not get the free preview by activating parental controls (go to settings, then tab over to parental control) or call customer service at 1-888-TWCABLE.
This appears to be a free preview targeting only Time Warner customers. I’m checking with other TV providers. I’ll update if I hear any positives.

Here's a list of TV/mobile companies helping consumers one tweet at a time. 
I thought everyone was getting “free” Showtime and The Movie Channel? By the way, Showtime sucks anyway!
Agreed. They are probably the bottom of the list of all the premium channels. I haven’t heard anybody talk good about Showtime over the past few years. Unfortunately, they used to be pretty good, but still not as good as HBO.
The price these SOB’s are charging the least they could do is give it to me for free!
I’ve got free showtime for a year and the only time I watch it is when big sports events are on like Strikeforce or Boxing other then that two thumbs down
i have charter and they are high if i would want showtime they would charge me a arm and leg for it they don t ever give us anything for free
I checked out the shows, and didn’t see anything I’d care to watch, even for free.
So much for Showtime.
(With hundreds of channels on call, I see no reason to pay an added premium for any one set of them.)
