Time Warner offers free NBA preview this week

For Time Warner Cable customers who were unwilling to cough up the $189 to watch basketball games on the NBA League Pass, the cable TV provider is offering a free preview from now until Jan. 24.
The freebie is on channels 711 to 719 and includes NBA TV on channel 735, TEAM 10 on channel 720 and HD games on Channel 733.
After this week, subscribers can order the “Half Season” package for $99.
